#BTN-Disabled

This section will act as your user manual/guide for most if not all situations you might encounter in #BTN-Disabled. It will be broken into functional sections.

Pre-requisities (Before you start)

Hacks/Compromised accounts go to TL+. Invite Trading/Sharing/etc are best left to senior Mods.

  1. Use the !whois command to make sure they're connecting from their homeIP.

    If they are not, have them come back on their home IP.

  2. Use the !u command to get basic information about them, and their profile link.

  3. Staff Edit them to find out why they are disabled and who disabled them.

If a user is disabled for being in the BTSSU, highlight a TL+

It is required to add a staff note with logs of your conversation. Use a BTN pastebin set to Moderator+ and secret to hold the logs.

Always check IP and email history for anything suspicious, regardless of why the user wasdisabled.

Inactivity (Less than 1 year)

The first two times a user is disabled for inactivity, re-enabling is almost automatic. However,don't let them off too easily - make them convince you they'll be active.

Hit N Runs

First Offense

If a user is disabled for H&Rs and it is their first offense, the standard practice is to enable them with 1-2 weeks to fix the H&Rs. Watchlist the user to make sure they fix them.

Second Offense

Should be enabled and issued a warning.

Tell them that if they do notfix their H&Rs or haveSroblems with H&Rs in the future, they will be permanently disabled.

Third Offense

Third time H&R offenders generally aren't enabled unless they make a very convincing case.
